Trauma informed Art Therapist HCPC registered

About me

Hello, I am Annie. I am an Art Therapist working online and in-person in the Bristol area. Please do drop me an email to schedule a free, no obligation, 15 minute call to briefly discuss what you're seeking support with.

Feeling Overwhelmed, Anxious or Stuck?

Do you find that your mind is constantly racing with anxious thoughts? Do you replay conversations or struggle to relax? Or perhaps you feel exhausted, disconnected, and as though you're simply trying to keep everything together. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone.

Many people come to therapy feeling this way. Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with relationships, or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or low mood, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

How Therapy Can Help

My sessions are rooted in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. Together, we can explore what is happening beneath the surface and work towards the changes you'd like to make in your life.

I offer a combination of talking therapy and art therapy. No previous experience of art-making is needed. Creative approaches can help access thoughts and feelings that can be difficult to put into words, offering new perspectives and opportunities for growth. Alongside practical tools and reflective exploration, this integrative approach can support meaningful and lasting change.

Areas I Can Support You With

For many years, I have supported adults through a range of challenges, including:

Anxiety and intrusive thoughts
Low mood and depression
ADHD
Brain fog and feeling overwhelmed
Relationship difficulties
Low self-esteem
Trauma
Life transitions

Together, we can develop a greater understanding of your experiences and build a toolbox of strategies to help you navigate life's ups and downs with more confidence and self-compassion.

Taking the Next Step

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don't have to figure things out on your own. If what you've read resonates with you, I invite you to get in touch. Please email me to arrange an initial conversation, in which we can talk about what you're seeking support with and to help you decide if you'd like to work with me.

Training, qualifications & experience

With over five years of experience, I tailor sessions to your individual needs using an integrative approach. This may include creative methods such as image-making, as well as exploring dreams and symbolic material.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. At the heart of my work is a warm, welcoming, and grounded relationship where we can make sense of your thoughts and feelings together, and discover new perspectives along the way.
