About me

I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist working with young adults and adults who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, burnt out, or noticing the same difficulties showing up across different areas of their lives. You might find yourself repeating patterns in relationships, having the same arguments, struggling at work, recovering from difficult or traumatic experiences, feeling conflicted within your family, friendships or relationships, or being particularly hard on yourself without fully understanding why.

I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, develop greater self-awareness, and feel more at ease in their lives. Together, we can explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, where they might have come from, and how your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and relationships can sometimes reinforce them without knowing.

As a psychodynamic therapist, I am interested in how your past experiences, including early relationships and significant experiences in your life, may be influencing how you relate to others, the world and yourself today. We can gently explore thoughts, feelings and patterns that may sit beneath the surface, bringing them into greater awareness so that they can be understood rather than unconsciously repeated.

I offer a thoughtful, warm and non-judgemental space where we can explore whatever feels important to you, at a pace that feels manageable. This way of working is often longer term, allowing time to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and create meaningful, lasting change.

Sessions take place online via Zoom, providing a consistent and confidential space for ongoing therapy.

If any of this feels familiar, you are very welcome to get in touch for an initial consultation. We can talk about what brings you to therapy and whether I might be the right therapist for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
