About me
Hi, I'm Zinzi, a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Trauma & Somatic Therapist, based in Croydon and online, specialising in trauma, anxiety, and stress.
I offer a warm, grounded, non-judgemental space to be truly seen and held, whatever you're navigating, whether that's anxiety, stress, trauma, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. We'll work together at your own pace, in a way that feels right for you.
Somatic work sits at the heart of my practice. With a background as a qualified counsellor, yoga teacher, and massage therapist, I bring a genuinely holistic lens to our work, one that honours not just your mind, but your body and nervous system too. I'm especially interested in how experience lives in the body, and how healing and a sense of steadiness can return there too.
I specialise in working with trauma, past and present, drawing on a range of integrative approaches tailored to you as an individual, never one-size-fits-all.
If you're not sure where to start, that's alright. Reaching out is often the hardest part, get in touch and we can arrange a short initial call to see if we're a good fit.
I offer traditional 50 min sessions, 30 min anchor sessions and The Inquiry
The Inquiry:
Six weeks. One question. The space to actually look at it.
The Inquiry is a contained six-week process, six 90-minute sessions, for anyone with something specific they want to explore, rather than an open-ended commitment: identity, purpose, a life transition, or simply wanting to understand yourself more clearly. Built around integrative, trauma-informed and somatic work, and tailored to what you bring, it holds a clear beginning, a focused middle, and a proper ending, so you leave with more clarity than you arrived with, and something to carry forward.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

The Inquiry
A focused, six-session space to work with one thing that's asking for your attention.
Not every piece of work needs to be long-term. The Inquiry is a contained six-session process, 90-minute sessions, for anyone who has something specific they want to explore, rather than an open-ended commitment: a question of identity, a search for purpose, a life transition, or simply wanting to understand yourself more clearly.
Each container is built around integrative, trauma-informed and somatic approaches, tailored to what you bring, but the structure stays the same: a clear beginning, a focused middle, and a proper ending. You'll leave with more clarity than you arrived with, and something to carry forward.
This isn't a taster of therapy, or a shortened version of long-term work. It's its own thing, deliberately contained, deliberately focused, built for people who know roughly what they want to look at and want the space to actually look at it.
