About me
Have you found yourself holding things together on the outside, whilst feeling something very different underneath? Perhaps something doesn’t feel quite right, even if it’s hard to put into words.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or carrying something that others don’t fully see.
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly about what’s happening for you and begin to make sense of what feels heavy, messy, or uncertain. We go at your pace, without pressure to have the “right” words or to explain everything perfectly.
Alongside supporting people through anxiety, relationship difficulties, low mood, loss, and life’s challenges more broadly, I have specialist training in supporting those navigating baby loss, miscarriage, infertility, and pregnancy after loss.
These experiences can affect people deeply and differently - emotionally, physically, within relationships, and in how you see yourself and your future. They can bring grief, anxiety, guilt, isolation, or conflicting feelings that aren't always openly spoken about or fully understood by others.
I understand that journeys into and through parenthood are deeply personal and can involve many different paths. I work with women, men, and LGBTQ+ clients, offering a space where your experience does not need to be simplified, justified, or compared, in order to be cared for.
At the heart of my work is the belief that being truly heard and understood can be a powerful starting point for change.
If you’d like to explore working together, you’re very welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial conversation, where we can see whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
Sessions are available face-to-face in my private garden therapy room in Witham, Essex, or online via Teams.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered member (416937) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in line with their ethical framework.
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, alongside Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, completed through a BACP-accredited training programme.
I have also undertaken specialist training with The Foundation for Infant Loss, supporting those navigating baby loss, miscarriage, infertility, and pregnancy after loss.
Alongside my training, I bring a thoughtful and reflective approach to my work, supporting clients through a wide range of emotional and personal challenges.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision, ensuring my work remains safe, ethical, and grounded.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I currently work with adult individuals (18+). Sessions last 50 minutes, are usually held weekly, and cost £50 per session.
I offer a free 15-20 minute introductory phone call, giving us the chance to talk a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, any questions you may have, and whether working together feels right for you.
There’s no pressure to continue afterwards - it’s simply a space to connect and see how things feel.
If you decide you’d like to go ahead, we can arrange your first session and begin exploring what’s brought you to counselling at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs. If you choose to book six sessions in advance, I also offer a 10% discount.
I have a limited number of reduced-fee spaces available for those on a lower income, so please feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss this.
If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, you’re very welcome to arrange an initial call and take things from there.
