About me

What is it that's brought you here? Maybe you’re feeling anxious or stressed, or you’re struggling with relationships. Perhaps you’ve achieved everything you thought you’d ever want in life, yet life feels... numb? Maybe it feels like you’re reaching the end of your tether. Whatever it is, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m a person-centred counsellor: my role is to be alongside you as you explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences – growing your self-awareness, and working towards making the changes you want to make in your life.

I work with adult clients in private practice Guildford and Haslemere in Surrey, as well as in central London. I’m experienced in a range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement and more. I welcome all clients regardless of disability, sexuality, gender, race or religion.

I'm an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) – the professional association for the counselling professions in the UK – and I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

If all this sounds like it might be what you’re looking for then a good place to start would be for us to have a conversation, either on the telephone or via email. If you feel our relationship could work, we can start the journey together – and if not, there will be someone out there who’s right for you.

Thanks for reading my profile.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
