About me

My path into psychotherapy grew from a curiosity about what lies beneath the surface of our thoughts and feelings, and how understanding these deeper layers can bring about change.

How I can help
I offer a safe and confidential space where we can work together regularly, allowing you to speak freely and begin to make sense of the issues that may be causing concern or distress.

You are invited to bring whatever feels important: current difficulties, relationships, work, life transitions, or a more general sense of feeling stuck. Alongside what can be put into words, I also pay attention to what may be harder to articulate, including emotional undercurrents, bodily experience, and unspoken patterns.

Therapy can be open-ended or time-limited. Over time, this work can support a deeper understanding of yourself, a more secure sense of self, and greater freedom in how you live and relate to others,  enabling you to live your life more fully.

My approach
My work is primarily informed by Jungian and psychodynamic ideas. Together, we explore how present thoughts, feelings, and relationship patterns may be shaped by earlier life experiences and significant relationships.

This may include attention to dreams, as well as the relationship between soma and psyche, how emotional life is lived and expressed in the body.

The process unfolds with curiosity and care, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
