About me
Something brought you here. Maybe you know exactly what it is. Maybe it's harder to put into words - a heaviness that won't lift, a sense that the person you used to be feels very far away, or a life that looks fine on the outside but feels anything but.
Whatever it is, you don't have to keep carrying it alone.
I'm Dipti Solanki, an integrative therapist and coach with over 20 years of experience working with adults through some of life's most difficult passages. I specialise in grief, loss and transition and I've come to understand that these three things are almost always connected. Loss doesn't only mean bereavement. It can be the loss of a relationship, a career, your health, your sense of belonging, or a version of yourself you thought you'd always be. And transition, even positive change, can quietly undo us in ways we don't expect.
My work is rooted in the belief that real healing rarely comes from addressing just one thing. People are complex, and therapy should honour that. As an integrative practitioner I draw on a range of approaches, always led by what you need rather than a fixed framework.
I also bring something personal to this work. My own experience of loss and transition has shaped not just why I do this, but how - with honesty, depth and genuine care for the person in front of me.
I work with individuals, professionals and organisations. I lecture in counselling and psychotherapy at the University of East London, am the founder of Grief Matters 4 All CIC, author of the Grief, Heartbreak and Hope Journal, and co-host of A Bunch of Therapists podcast. My work has been featured in The Telegraph, The Independent, BBC One and Happiful.
I offer in-person sessions in South Woodford and Buckhurst Hill, and online sessions. I work with adults aged 16 and over.
If something here resonates, please email to book a free connection call. It's a no-pressure conversation -just a chance to talk, ask questions and see if working together feels right.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
