About me
Life doesn't always go to plan, it has it's ups and downs and sometimes the challenges feel too heavy to carry on your own. Maybe you're struggling with your mental health, anxiety, family issues, low mood, depression, low self-esteem or going through a big change in your life. Perhaps you feel stuck, misunderstood and unsure of your next steps. You might be doing your best to cope, but deep down you know you're struggling. Whatever you're facing, you don't have to go through it alone.
I offer a safe, confidential, and caring space where you can talk openly without fear of judgement. This is your time to be heard, understood, and supported. Together we'll explore what's going on for you, at your pace, and in a way that feels comfortable and respectful.
My approach is sensitive, down-to-earth, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe you are the expert in your own life and my role is to walk alongside you, offering understanding, and the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings, making sense of what you're going through, and finding practical ways to help you feel more in control and at peace.
I have trained in person-centred/humanistic counselling but will draw on various other approaches to support you. You might not have all the answers but we'll figure things out together, in a way that is best for you.
I can offer face-to-face sessions at either West Malling or Rochester or online sessions anywhere in the UK. I provide short-term or longer ongoing counselling to suit your individual needs.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it's also a step towards feeling lighter, stronger, and more in control. If you're ready to talk, I'm here to listen.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
