About me

It's not always easy to ask for help and express how you're feeling. Taking that first step can be daunting, however, as an understanding and dedicated BACP registered counsellor, I am committed to supporting your journey through life's challenges. I provide a safe, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences.

I have trained in person-centred/humanistic counselling but will draw on various other approaches to support your unique journey. My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights needed to overcome obstacles, build resilience and create a meaningful change in your life.

Whether you're facing personal struggles, seeking emotional support or looking for guidance in a challenging time, I'm here to help you. Together, we will work towards a healthier, more fulfilling future, one step at a time.

I can offer face-to-face sessions from my room in West Malling or online sessions anywhere in the UK. I provide short-term or longer ongoing counselling to suit your individual needs.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP.

  • Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Humanistic Route)
  • Level 3 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling (Humanistic Route)
  • Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
  • Level 2 Award in Introduction to Counselling Skills
  • Cruse Bereavement Foundation Course
  • HM Government Prevent training
  • NSPCC Child Protection in Secondary Schools
  • Introducing Autism-Informed Practice
  • NOS Online Safety for Support Staff

Apart from working with adults in my private practice, I offer volunteer counselling to referred patients from a GPs surgery and I am currently undertaking further training to work with children and young people.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
