About me

Hi, I'm Digna. I help people who don’t feel good enough to feel more confident in their lives by learning how to be kinder to themselves.

You maybe feeling this way due to a number of reasons. It could be as a result of social media, your childhood, your cultural background, a stressful time, feeling worried and anxious, relationship problems, being treated unfairly, being abused, feeling depressed, work issues or loss.

Or, you may not know how or why you feel like you do and that's okay too.

How can I help you?

- I became an counsellor because I'm passionate about providing a supportive and comfortable space which allows others to feel listened to and accepted.

- I can support you to become more aware of your feelings and needs. This can help you to understand yourself more and be able to communicate better with others.

- Feel more comfortable to be able to say “no” and put in boundaries for yourself can protect your time and energy and improve relationships with those around you too.

- Finding better ways of coping and feel more in control and confident in life.

- It can feel so hard and overwhelming when you think that you have to cope with everything on your own. I know because I've been there too and you're not alone.

- I'll provide you with different perspectives and other ways of thinking about situations.

- I'm an qualified integrative counsellor and an approved Anxiety UK Therapist which means that I use a range of different approaches to adapt to what you may need from our sessions.

We all face challenges and difficulties in life and no matter how big or small, counselling can help to make sense of what's troubling you and find ways of coping for you.

Services

I offer face to face, telephone and online counselling sessions.

Next Steps

Once you've contacted me we will arrange your first session. In this session, we'll discuss what's bringing you to counselling and how we can work together.

It's a chance for us to get to know each other a bit more and decide if we feel comfortable working together.

Contact

If you have any questions or would like to book your first session with me you can text/call me on 07726 505 842 or email me at info@lotusblossomcounselling.com.

Please note: If you do call and there's no answer please leave me a voicemail, text message or email (if you email me and don't hear back within 48 hours please check your junk folder) and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
