About me

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, I am available for sessions using online video calling, telephone and instant messaging services. This will allow me to be more flexible in booking sessions to support your needs in this uncertain time and also means that I can offer counselling sessions if you are based anywhere in the UK.

Are you tired of not feeling good enough?

Have you had enough with the non-stop self-doubt, indecision and fear?

Comparing yourself to others whilst scrolling through social media or people you know leaves you feeling unhappy and less than.

We all face challenges in life and at times need support to get back on track again. I believe counselling is one of those tools that can provide support to others when they are feeling sad, lost or low. Whether you need someone to really hear and accept you or you need support, tools and awareness to get through a difficult period in your life counselling can help.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor this means that I use a range of varying therapeutic approaches to support you and your needs. As well as my counselling training and experience I also draw on my own personal experiences and lessons that I've learnt along the way.

I specialise in confidence & self-esteem, abuse and anxiety issues.

You might avoid people and miss out on opportunities because you are afraid of what could go wrong and that you’ll be embarrassed. Perhaps these difficulties affect your relationships. You may find yourself in trapped suffocating relationships where you feel controlled.

Counselling can make sense of difficulties

I will provide you with emotional support by offering you a warm, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental space. By offering you a different perspective it can allow you to see problems and issues in a way that you may not have noticed before. In this space you can start to gain awareness and acceptance from which healing and change can begin.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to book a session.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
