About me

I am a psychotherapist with an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and seven years of experience working in mental health. I provide short and long term tailored support from young adulthood to senior years who are navigating emotional difficulties and life's challenges.

I specialize in integrative therapy, combining psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and humanistic/existential approaches tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll gradually build a clearer picture of what's causing your struggles and what's been holding you back, working toward deeper understanding and lasting change.

I've worked with people at all stages of life, and I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support. Everything you bring to our sessions matters. I offer a compassionate, open space where we can explore your difficulties together.

I am skilled in helping clients navigate relationship difficulties, including parenting hurdles, family conflict, and unstable romantic patterns. I also provide support for individual struggles with anxiety, depression, loneliness, stress, loss, and life transitions. My expertise also extends to relevant experiences with neurodiversity and migration.

We'll work together to understand your unique difficulties and tailor a path forward. I provide a free initial consultation so we can discuss whether we're a good fit. I'd be happy to hear from you.

Registered BACP Member #416066 (MBACP)

I bring over 7 years of experience in the mental health field working with a vast variety of clients both in the public and private sector.

I worked within the NHS counselling service supporting clients experiencing diverse issues, including depression, relational difficulties, bereavement, dysfunctional family dynamics, anger issues, and trauma.

Previously I had been involved in institutions which mission is to support communities providing therapeutic support to families, children, the elderly, and victims of domestic abuse. I offered individual therapy to children and guidance to their caregivers. My work in this sector also involved group work facilitating wellbeing sessions for the elderly and workshops on positive parenting, prevention of domestic abuse, and psychological first aids for families, health professionals and community leaders.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
