About me

Natural Presence Counselling

Do you feel as if life is happening to you?
Is there something missing, where there could be more?
Are there hidden, unwanted patterns in your life keeping you stuck?

Rather than seeing you as someone who needs to fundamentally change, my role as a counsellor is to uncover the natural presence that you already possess.

We all have natural presence. It is our innate awareness, our fundamental aliveness, and indistinguishable from being human.
Natural presence is inseparable from our interconnectedness. It is kind, appreciative and embodied, and the more we have of it, the greater our capacity for love, relationship and creativity.

I Can Help With:

  • Significant Life Changes
  • Living More Creatively
  • Embodied Spirituality
  • Being More Genuine

I Can Also Help With:

  • Anxiety, Worry & Obsessive Thoughts
  • Depression, Self-Criticism & Self-Harm
  • Relationship Problems & Trust Issues
  • Childhood Negative Experiences
  • Loss & Bereavement
  • Trauma Release

If you're interested in finding out more about how I work, feel free to visit my website at www.naturalpresence.co.uk

Wishing you the transformation that you seek and deserve.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained as a psychotherapeutic counsellor at Re-Vision between 2012-2015, qualifying in 2015 with a Diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis Counselling.

Re-Vision is an established yet innovative centre for training in counselling and psychotherapy, bringing together spiritual values with sound clinical skills.
Openness, honesty, clarity, beauty and tolerance are values that Re-Vision is committed to putting into practice, believing that counselling and psychotherapy are vital for transformation in troubled times.

I continued my training at the Institute for Embodied Psychotherapy between 2021-2023, qualifying in 2023 with a Certificate in Integrative Embodied Psychotherapy.
The Institute of Embodied Psychotherapy offer guidance and training in becoming an embodied practitioner through connecting to the wisdom of the body and the truth it holds. Their therapeutic approach offers profound healing and transformation - both for practitioners and clients.

I have had a small private practice in Cornwall since 2020, working indoors, outdoors and online.

Additional information

The initial meeting is £30. This one off, one hour meeting is an opportunity for you to share more about what has brought you to counselling, and for us to get a sense of whether we would work well together, and be a good fit.

If we decide to work together I usually suggest 6 more sessions, to give us the opportunity to begin to understand and undermine the patterns that are holding you back. We'll review how things have been for you on the sixth week, and see where you want to go from there - whether that is to finish counselling, to have more short term sessions, or to engage in something longer term.

Further information

I am also a practicing Buddhist, a singer-songwriter and a performer. I have been on a journey of self transformation for over half my life now, and the more I change, the more I realise that the goal is to become more and more myself.
