About me
Hello, I'm Daryl, I am an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist who works with adults and young people, in-person and online in Warwick and Leamington Spa.
As an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I bring together effective contemporary approaches to therapy, drawing from a variety of models to suit your individual needs. These include different theoretical models such as relational, attachment based, psychodynamic, person centred, and energy work.
There are times in everyone's life when things are tough, distressing and feel overwhelming. We might find ourselves repeating unhelpful and destructive patterns in the way we behave or relate to others. At these times, therapy can be life changing.
If you're struggling -- with life, with relationships, with work/study, with distressing experiences, with your own thoughts or feelings -- it can be a lonely experience. Therapy gives you an ally who will walk alongside you as you face your challenges, go through ups and downs, and enjoy breakthroughs, progress, and success. All of this in a supportive, safe, and confidential space.
Additionally, if you are looking for an exciting and challenging space for personal exploration, growth, and development then the comprehensive INSIGHT self-discovery programmes are for you. Gain all-round and in-depth insight into who you are, how you've developed, and where you are heading. The programme most suited to those looking to work on any of the following areas:
- Self esteem
- Confidence
- Uncertainty about yourself, your life, and/or your future
- Struggling generally with anxiety
- Mild depression
- Difficulties concentrating/sticking to tasks/goals
- A pattern of finding relationships challenging
- Identity issues
- Finding life/career direction
The 360 INSIGHT, INSIGHT Focus, and INSIGHT Accelerator options have been built to provide more structure, guidance, intensity, and rapid self discovery to allow you to reach your potential. To find out more please visit www.darylnicholas.com/insightprogrammes
The relationship between any individual and their therapist is often the most important factor in determining therapeutic success. I aim to build a supportive, safe and confidential relationship where we can discuss and explore you, your life, and your potential. Drop me an email to get started.

Qualifications
MA Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, Advanced diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Member of the British association of counselling and psychotherapy
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
