About me
When life feels too much to manage by stress, emotions, depression or just flat without any emotions, I’m here to support you to find a balance walking by your side. I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we can work towards greater self-understanding, emotional balance, and personal growth. Sessions are available both online and face-to-face, with the flexibility of short- or long-term therapy to suit your needs.
I am particularly passionate about supporting trauma survivors, including those affected by war, displacement, abuse, loss, and other life-altering experiences. Whether your trauma feels “big” or “small,” its impact on your life and sense of self is deeply personal and valid. I understand how experiences of fear, loss, and uncertainty can leave lasting emotional wounds, and my role is to walk alongside you as you begin to rebuild safety, trust, and self-compassion.
I have experience supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, loneliness, grief, trauma, and the impact of abuse. My approach is rooted in empathy and genuine connection, which I believe are essential for healing and lasting change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m Integrative Therapist and a registered member of British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapist. I draw upon Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. This allows me to tailor each session to meet your unique needs and to help you make sense of your experiences in a way that feels meaningful to you.
I’ve experienced working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, war survivors, war trauma, refugees and racism.
I have worked with children aged between 16 and 18 with all different struggles including stress management during exams.
I have extended training working with trauma, trauma-recovery and relationship issues.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
