About me
You may have a clear understanding of what brings you here to find a counsellor, or you may find that hard to put into words, either way I am so glad that you're taking this first essential step towards receiving support.
I am a Person-Centred Pluralistic Counsellor who welcomes all to a warm, non-judgemental space to support you with whatever has bought you here. I like to work collaboratively to empower you as much as possible throughout our time together to get what you need from the therapy process.
I am trained to incorporate creative methods and self compassionate mindfulness and am open to exploring how these might fit into our sessions to support you with expressing that which might feel difficult to put into words.
Training, qualifications & experience
I welcome all identities and gender expressions. I am committed to a practice that is anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ inclusive.
I am fully-qualified with over 300 hours of therapeutic practice both in-person and remotely where I have supported individuals with an extensive range of topics.
I work with a range of issues such as anxiety, abuse, depression, grief, low self-esteem, work and career concerns, relationships and women's issues.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Sessions start at £60 for online sessions and £75 for in person sessions, I offer a limited number of reduced fee sessions for clients with low income and trainees.
When I work
I have availability for online sessions through the week, and have access to in person sessions on Wednesdays at West Hampstead (directly opposite West Hampstead Thameslink Station).
Further information
I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call to help give you a sense of whether you'd like to begin working together. This might be an opportunity for you to ask initial questions or discuss your hopes and expectations of therapy. There is no expectation to commit further. If you decide to begin, our first session will be a gentle exploration of what's brought you here.
