About me
Hello, thanks for taking a look at my page I am a dedicated Therapist with many years of experience in providing support to individuals navigating life’s challenges. I am a registered member of BACP. I endeavour to improve mental wellness within a vast range of mental illnesses. Currently, I work mainly through an integrative approach as it is my belief that the more tools a therapist has in their arsenal, the larger the potential for positive outcomes. The therapeutic alliance is of paramount importance to me with each client I work with as I believe this is the most effective way to inspire change.
Training, qualifications & experience
In 2019 I completed the Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice. As an additional module for Level 4 I successfully completed the Working with Children and Young People. I added the Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2022. Furthermore, I am currently working on the Level 6 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Informed by Research). I have been working professionally since 2019 and have accumulated over 3200 counselling hours, during which I have worked with a wide variety of people and issues.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I work mainly using an integrative approach as I feel this allows me to fully utilise all the skills and knowledge gained, since I started training as a counsellor. I am also very interested in the relational approach as I feel the therapeutic alliance is of paramount importance for positive outcomes.
I particularly enjoy working with clients who experience anxiety in all forms. Trauma and PTSD is another area on interest for me, in which I have vast experience, both professionally and personally. I have had great success working with confidence and self-esteem issues and really enjoy this work.
