About me

I offer a client-centered approach to psychotherapy. What this means is I adhere to a way of being that promotes positive psychosocial emotional development in my clients.  At the forefront of my practice is an attitude towards the significance and worth of the individual. I see each person as having worth and respect every individual's right to self-direction.

What does this mean for the therapy you will receive from me?

This means you will receive therapy that is compatible with your unique experiences. Whether it be addictions, mental health diagnosis, or personal struggles, client-centered therapy is a powerful tool to delve deeply into your experiences and drive you towards a better way of being.

Training, qualifications & experience

My training best supports those with anxiety depression and trauma. I have trained in Canada at Simon Fraser University earning a Bachelors in Human Development and Counselling. I have also trained in the United Kingdom achieving a Master's of person-centered psychotherapy at the University of Nottingham.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
