About me

You may be having difficulties around relationship(s), possibly around sex and/or intimacy. You may be suffering from anxiety or depression or from low self esteem.  You may have experienced trauma or something else.  I am an experienced relationship therapist who also offers psychosexual therapy and I have worked with individual clients with a wide range of issues.

If things are feeling difficult and you would like to find some peace and a positive way forwards then please do get in touch. I can offer you a judgement-free, inclusive and empathic space where we will explore things together at your pace.

I work with individuals in a dedicated way with the aim of shifting things in a helpful way.  This may be experienced as a place of some peace and contentment. My core training is psychodynamic whereby we may explore the past in order to make sense of the present and in so doing look to find lasting benefits for the future.

I welcome all couples and relationship structures. I offer a containing space however difficult things may feel. Loss of trust, conflict, loss of connection and sex may form some part of the issues brought. Sometimes couples envisage different outcomes and my counselling space can be helpful around this.  I work in an insightful, impartial and gentle way towards a positive way forward for each person.

Psychosexual therapy or sex therapy may be helpful if you have lost confidence in sex or in your sexual functioning.  Together we can work out what has happened and think about a tailored programme of exercises you can do at home to get your sex life back on track.

In person sessions are offered from private, central rooms in Havant, a few minutes from the A3(M) and M27 junction. Free dedicated parking is available. I also offer online sessions.

Please email me to arrange an initial phone call or a zoom chat.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
