About me

As life happens, we pick up puzzle pieces from other people, from our parents, from friends, their friends, from the news, the world... from life! And these puzzle pieces gradually arrange themselves over our inner selves, until we might even forget what it looked or felt like to actually be ourself.

Hello, I'm Clive - a warm, compassionate, and experienced integrative counsellor offering a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind and slowly we can remove the puzzle pieces which have covered your true self, or at least the one's which no longer serve you.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship issues, stress, grief, low self-esteem, or just feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to walk alongside you at your pace. I work with adults and couples, tailoring my approach to suit your individual needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to support deep, meaningful change.

I understand that starting or restarting therapy can feel like a big step. My aim is to create a calm, reflective space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

I offer sessions in person, online, or by phone - whichever feels most comfortable for you.

If you'd like to find out more, please get in touch. Finding the right therapist is important and can be tricky so I offer a free, no-obligation introductory session to see if we’re a good fit.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
