About me
As an experienced BACP-registered psychodynamic therapist, I'm here to support you in understanding and making sense of thoughts and feelings that may feel overwhelming and distressing.
You don't need to get through this alone
You might be finding life generally difficult, or struggling to cope with a particular situation. I offer a space to explore what is going on and to think about how you can move forward with more clarity.
Psychodynamic therapy involves reflecting on how past experiences and traumas impact you in your current life and relationships. By taking time to think about the past, we can bring understanding to present difficulties. Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself opens up new possibilities and choices.
A warm & confidential space in which you can talk freely & openly
I work in a gentle, curious way, taking time to think with you about what is feeling difficult. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, and loss.
I have particular experience in working with family difficulties, helping you navigate complex family relationships that are troubling you.
I offer weekly sessions in person in the Cotswolds & online
Please get in touch and I’ll respond to you as soon as possible to arrange a phone call. This will be an opportunity for me to explain how I work and to discuss availability.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am clinically qualified and experienced in working with adults of all ages. I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework, meaning that I work professionally, safely and confidentially.
I have worked with adults in counselling & psychotherapy services & charities across Gloucestershire and London. I have experience of working with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship issues & divorce, bereavement & loss, work difficulties and low self esteem.
I trained in London (WPF Psychotherapy) and Gloucestershire (Gloucestershire Counselling Service). My rigorous training was accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
Prior to training as a therapist, I worked with national parenting organisations such as Netmums supporting parents and I currently work for a local charity providing counselling to parents.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
