Everybody Hurts. Sometimes, we need a bit of help with that.

My welcoming practice is open to everyone, of all genders and identities, but I also have over two decades experience working with women at all stages of  life and experience. This covers every aspect of the particular ways women may experience challenge such as emotional and psychological strain, financial issues, family pressures, domestic issues, abuse, business and professional stress, relationships, returning to work, parenting, eating disorders, confidence, caring, health, illness, menopause and perimenopause, reinvention, recovery and just getting through.

I work with many types of mental health issue for every individual, life stage challenge and personal struggle.

I am currently studying for a Masters Degree with my research focused on coercive control and relationships. Years of mentoring, training, communication and volunteering have honed my focus on relationship building and open, non-judgmental support. 

As well as my private practice I am a Volunteer Counsellor/Honorary Teaching Assistant at the University of Aberdeen's counselling and research clinic. I am a member of COSCA, BACP and BPS.

COSCA Counsellor Accreditation is a pathway to entry onto the UKRC. It is a requirement of all individual and organisational members of COSCA to abide by its Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice and be accountable to the Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
