About me

I specialise in working with young people, women, and neurodivergent people.

My previous role as a youth worker ultimately inspired me to train as a counsellor. Since qualifying I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, young people, and adults and I really value the diversity and richness that comes with supporting individuals across different stages of life.

I offer a warm and compassionate space for healing and growth, following your lead and working at your pace. As an Integrative Counsellor, I have skills in a variety of approaches, meaning I can tailor our time together to best suit your needs.

Outside the therapy room, I’m passionate about community, friendship, family and travel all of which continue to shape my values, perspective, and counselling approach in meaningful ways.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Masters degree in Integrative Counselling, and have specific training in:

  • Person-Centred Therapy
  • Parts / Internal Family Systems
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy
  • Perinatal Mental Health
  • Working with Survivors of Sexual Abuse
  • Working Therapeutically with Autistic Clients

In my practice, I follow the client’s lead and strive to be flexible and responsive. Sessions are always shaped by the client’s unique needs, story and goals.

I am currently working towards Accreditation with BACP.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

ACC
Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions (ACC)

The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.

Please email me for a free initial chat - I often have more availability than the vacant slots on the calendar you can see.

And I am committed to making counselling as accessible as possible. If cost is a concern, you are very welcome to ask about a reduced fee. I offer concessionary rates wherever I can, and there is no minimum fee - together, we can agree on an amount that feels manageable for you.

In addition to my private practice, I also provide pro bono counselling through partner organisations, supporting individuals who may not otherwise be able to access therapy.
