About me
Approach: I aim to offer a warm, considered approach in the therapy, to provide a space for you to process your emotions, reflect and deepen your understanding of yourself and others.
Therapy: I offer one-to-one therapy to adults. I aim to provide evidence-based and evidence-informed appropriate therapeutic interventions for people with a range of presentations (mild, moderate, and severe) e.g. depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, addictions, and relationship issues. I evaluate treatment options; therapeutic models; factors concerning historical processes and systems; and possible cultural influences.
Psychological assessments: I conduct general psychological assessments producing a psychological report. I also provide Medical Legal Reports (to be instructed by a solicitor).
Supervision (for clinicians/ therapists): For trainee and qualified psychologists and psychotherapists, I offer clinical supervision sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience
Experience: I am a Psychologist with eighteen years of professional experience (as a Counselling Psychology since 2013). I have an extensive background in management, teaching, research, and psychological interventions.
I currently work in academia, teaching doctoral students (Counselling Psychology). I work conducting psychological assessments (MLRs), as well as a Senior, Highly Specialist Psychologist for a psychological trauma service.
Previously, for five years, I managed a psychotherapy service in North London, with key responsibility for overall service and operations, including management of staff, clinical assessments, allocation decisions, evaluating treatment options, therapist recruitment and supervision.
Other clinical/ managerial roles have included: service manager of a psychotherapy service in South London supporting people experiencing domestic abuse; psychologist working within a substance use facility; a psychologist working in therapeutic care homes for young people; and clinical supervisor to international humanitarian psychosocial workers.
I have presented internationally at press conferences, lectures and seminars, and have various publications, including “Integrative Theory and Practice in Psychological Therapies: New Directions” (Open University Press).

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
