There are times in life when all of us struggle and in that you are not alone. Coronavirus and the lockdown restrictions have made us become aware of or brought about many issues. Whether you have experienced anxiety, depression, stress or other difficulties before, or have more recently felt fear, worry, suffered relationship difficulties or grief, bereavement and loss, I truly believe that counselling may benefit you.
As a person-centred counsellor I believe our relationship will be the key that may enable change in your life. My aim is to create a safe space, without judgement, in which you feel valued for being yourself. It is in this way and by always endeavouring to understand issues from your point of view that our relationship may be of therapeutic value. As we continue to work together this may enable you to become aware of more of yourself, to empower you to move towards a life that brings you greater stability and contentment. As a non-directive practitioner, the pace and content of the therapeutic space is yours to decide, although I shall be an active participant in what you bring. I shall accompany and support you empathically on your journey, wherever you choose to go, at the time that is right for you.
