Supervision details
As a person-centered counsellor I endeavour to bring the same relational qualities to our supervision space. Whilst predominantly using the seven-eyed model to facilitate our conversations, it is important to me that supervision is co-created and approached flexibly, so that it becomes a space which is tailored to yourself as an individual and your needs throughout our time together.
Through engaging in reflective practice and our own relational processes, I aim to be there with you to clarify what is unseen, celebrate what works, and recognise what we would like to do differently in future, as all of these aspects of our experience are important for ourselves and our practice. Whilst highly valuing ethical practice and being experienced in legal and safeguarding matters, I aim to establish a safe, supportive space for you to encounter the whole of your experience and develop your professional identity in the way that is right for you.
With years of counselling experience with clients of all ages in schools, the NHS, charities, EAP providers, and private practice, I also have experience as a Senior Practitioner in a CYP early intervention service. I am qualified to supervise both trainee and qualified counsellors; in person (in my office in Burton Joyce), online, and via telephone, and we can work together through one of these or in varied ways to suit your needs, availability, and adaptation to the way that you work with your clients. Similarly, the frequency and duration of sessions can also be adapted to your needs and your practice.
If you would like an initial meeting to discuss working together, please reach out.
