Counsellor & Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

About me

Hi, I'm Claire and I'm an integrative Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a practitioner member of Counselling and Psychotherapy Scotland (COSCA).  People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons, but whatever brings you to therapy, you will receive a warm welcome and experience a safe, non-judgemental environment in our sessions.  We will discuss your needs and work together to explore the issues you would like support with to ensure you get the most out of therapy.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have many years of experience in working with people.  Before retraining as a counsellor, I worked as a Primary School Teacher and undertook a variety of voluntary roles in the community.  I continue to run my own business which provides relaxation and wellbeing services.  I offer face to face appointments in Clarkston (G76) and East Kilbride (G74) and also offer online video appointments.  I bring a genuine ability to listen and can introduce you to tools and strategies that have been proven to work for depression, stress, anxiety, loss, low self-esteem, relationship problems and many other challenges that we face in life.
