About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist offering online therapy to adults and couples across the UK. My work is focused on complex and long-standing difficulties, including childhood and relational trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodivergence, and patterns that have not shifted through previous therapy.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, yet feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected internally. Often, they have tried therapy before and are looking for something deeper, more structured, and more attuned to how their emotional and nervous system responses actually operate under stress.
My approach is calm, collaborative, and depth-oriented. Rather than working at the level of surface symptoms alone, therapy focuses on the underlying emotional and relational patterns that shape how you experience yourself and your relationships.
How I work / therapeutic approach
My work integrates several advanced, evidence-based approaches, chosen specifically for clients with complex or developmental difficulties:
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), including attachment-focused applications
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapy, supporting a compassionate understanding of different parts of the self
- Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) principles for relational and attachment-based work
These approaches are not used in a formulaic way. Therapy is carefully paced and adapted to your needs, capacity, and readiness, with attention to safety, stabilisation, and trust. For some clients, this includes preparatory work before deeper trauma processing; for others, the focus may be relational or parts-based exploration.
The aim is not quick change, but meaningful and lasting shifts in how you relate to your emotions, your history, and the people around you.
Areas of particular focus
I work primarily with complex presentations, including:
- Childhood and developmental trauma
- Complex PTSD and attachment wounds
- Neurodivergence (including autism and ADHD), particularly where this intersects with trauma or relationships
- Relationship and intimacy difficulties, including high-conflict or emotionally reactive dynamics
- Emotional shutdown, chronic self-criticism, or difficulty accessing feelings
This work is often best suited to people who are curious, reflective, and willing to engage with therapy at depth over time.
Couples therapy
I offer couples therapy informed by attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). This work focuses on understanding cycles of disconnection, reactivity, and repair, and is particularly suited to couples who feel stuck in repeated patterns despite good intentions.
I have a particular interest in working with couples where trauma histories or neurodivergence shape relational dynamics, communication, or emotional safety.
Practicalities and fit
I offer online therapy sessions to clients across the UK. My practice is focused on depth-oriented, specialist work, and I aim to keep a limited caseload so that the work remains contained and thoughtful.
If you’re considering therapy and are wondering whether my way of working might be a good fit, you’re welcome to get in touch. I’m happy to discuss what you’re looking for and whether this approach feels right for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and specialist training in trauma-focused and attachment-based therapy. I am EMDRIA-certified in EMDR and a member of EMDR UK, with additional training in attachment-informed applications of EMDR for complex and developmental trauma.
My work is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), using a parts-based approach to support clients in understanding and relating differently to internal patterns, alongside Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) principles in my work with individuals and couples.
