About me
My name is Chris and I’m a qualified and experienced counsellor/therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional difficulties. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if you’re going through a time of uncertainty or distress—but I believe it’s one of the bravest steps you can take toward healing and self-understanding.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, explore your feelings, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship issues, trauma, identity struggles, or simply feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn, I’m here to walk alongside you.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from several established therapeutic models—including person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic insights—depending on what best suits your needs. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for each person’s individuality. I won’t come to our sessions with a pre-set agenda; instead, I’ll listen carefully and work collaboratively with you, helping you to explore your experiences at your own pace and in your own way.
I have particular experience in supporting clients who have faced bereavement, family breakdown, domestic difficulties, childhood trauma, and identity-related issues. I understand how overwhelming these challenges can feel, and how important it is to feel seen, heard, and supported in the midst of them. I also work with students and young adults navigating academic pressures, transitions, self-esteem concerns, and social anxiety.
Alongside my therapeutic qualifications, I bring warmth, empathy, and a genuine belief in people’s ability to grow and heal. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—because you are not broken. It’s about reconnecting with your strengths, understanding your story, and discovering new ways of coping and being.
You don’t need to have all the answers before you start therapy—just a willingness to begin. Whether you’re looking for short-term support or a longer-term space to work through deeper issues, I will do my best to meet you where you are.
I offer in-person sessions as well as online counselling for those who prefer the flexibility of remote support. I understand that finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, so I offer an initial consultation where we can talk about what you're looking for and see whether we might be a good fit.
If any of this resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch. I’d be honoured to support you on your journey

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
