About me
Starting therapy can take courage. I aim to offer a safe, thoughtful and non‑judgemental space where we can make sense of your experiences together. I am based in Shoreditch and Dalston. I also offer online sessions.
Who I work with
I work with individuals, couples, polycules and families of all genders, sexualities, backgrounds and neurotypes. I am a gay man and have particular expertise working with LGBT+ clients and apply a Gender Sexuality and Relationship Diverse (GSRD) approach to my work. Whether you are seeking change, wanting to understand yourself or your past more clearly, or simply need a space to be heard, I offer a confidential and supportive environment to explore your concerns, relationships and inner world.
How I work
I see therapy as a partnership. We will work collaboratively to explore what’s happening in your life, understand patterns that may be causing difficulty, and support meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can notice recurring patterns and consider how they might be understood, shifted, or gently let go.
At the heart of my work is the belief that the quality of the therapeutic relationship matters most. I aim to foster an open, respectful and more equal relationship, where your voice is valued. If something doesn’t feel right or you disagree with me, I welcome that conversation as part of the work. You are invited to come as you are, so we can speak honestly and comfortably together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an integrative therapist specialising in Relational Transactional Analysis (TA). This means I draw on different approaches and aspects of my training to find what therapy approach is the best for each individual or relationship. Together, we will explore present‑day patterns of thinking and behaviour, as well as the often unconscious processes that shape them.
My practice is informed by many years of living and working alongside the diverse communities of London. I value intersectional context as an essential part of the therapeutic process and want to understand how personal experiences are shaped by wider systems, relationships and influences.
I hold an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and a Clinical Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am a Certified Transactional Analyst with the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA). I am also a qualitied Clinical Supervisor.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
