About me
Specialising in ages 11-25, including School anxiety, ADHD and Autism (ASD), EBSA, Anxiety and Low Mood, Confidence & Self-Esteem, Emotional Regulation
With over 10 years experience working with young people across a variety of settings, I understand how valuable the right support can be. I’ve seen first-hand the difference that having a safe, trusted space to talk can make, particularly during the challenges of adolescence.
I offer a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental space where young people can feel heard, understood and able to be themselves. Sometimes having someone outside of family and school to talk to can make all the difference.
Sessions are shaped around the individual young person and what they need, helping them to better understand themselves, build on their strengths and feel more able to manage the challenges they face.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Looking for support for your child?
If you’re worried about your child or teenager, you may be noticing changes in their mood, behaviour or confidence and wondering how best to help.
- They may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low.
- School may have become difficult, stressful or something they are increasingly avoiding.
- They may be struggling with confidence, friendships or relationships.
- You may notice big emotions, difficulty regulating feelings or changes in behaviour.
- They may be finding life particularly challenging alongside ADHD, autism or other additional needs.
- You may have tried to help but feel that they need someone outside the family to talk to.
- They might not want to talk to you - but may feel more comfortable talking to someone independent.
- You don’t need to know exactly what your child needs before getting in touch. We can talk through what you’re noticing and consider whether counselling, 1:1 support, or a combination of both could be helpful.
Other session styles:
Alongside counselling, I offer tailored 1:1 support, which can include mentoring, confidence-building, emotional support and practical strategies. Some young people need a therapeutic space to explore emotions and experiences, while others may benefit from more practical support around confidence, school, emotional regulation, relationships or navigating day-to-day challenges.
Sessions are shaped around the individual young person and what they need, helping them to better understand themselves, build on their strengths and feel more able to manage the challenges they face. My regular sessions are 50 minutes, however for those who may find this challenging I offer a reduced session of 30 minutes.
