About me
Based in Winchester, I work with adults and young people 16 years and over. As a fully qualified (MBACP) counsellor, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space that welcomes issues that you may be finding uncomfortable to discuss with those who are close to you.
I am a warm, relational person who encourages open and honest exploration of what has brought you to where you are. My therapy room is comfortable and homely and free parking is available.
Life can be far from straight forward? In fact life is messy. We cannot escape the messiness of being human but we can make small changes in our lives that can help us to grow and move forward. Counselling can help us to do that. What is it that brings you to consider counselling?
There are many areas of life that therapy can help with.
As your counsellor, I will work alongside you to help you explore your emotions and feelings in a safe, comfortable and confidential environment. We can work together in a place and time that is dedicated to you, where you will feel supported and listened to.
Therapy can bring positive changes to your life.
I have trained as an Integrative Counsellor which enables me to tailor my approach so that our sessions meet your needs. My core approach is humanistic / person centred but I am able to draw on other techniques such as CBT and creative methods. It all depends on what you need and how you wish to work. Ultimately I believe that we all have the capacity to change no matter how stuck and helpless we may feel at times.
I can help you to discover your inner voice as we work together at your pace.
Adults and Young People over the age of 16 years.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
