About me

Hi, I’m Cheryl, an experienced Psychotherapist working with children, adults, and parents. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we can explore what you are experiencing.

You might be an adult struggling with anxiety, depression,  trauma or bereavement.  A parent concerned about your child’s wellbeing, or a young person trying to cope with intense emotions, family issues. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.

Therapy moves at your pace, offering both support and direction to help you make sense of your experiences and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

My aim is to help you build deeper self-understanding, strengthen emotional resilience, and feel more confident in navigating your world.

I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches along with Transactional Analysis. Helping you explore your experiences, understand patterns, develop new ways of coping and moving forward.

I have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including ADHD and ASD Therapy is adapted to suit each person’s processing style, communication preferences, and sensory needs, recognising effective support is different for everyone.

If you’re considering therapy, please get in touch to arrange an introductory call where we can discuss your needs further.

Further information

I offer therapy in-person from an accessible office in Stockton-on-Tees, and online or by phone across the UK.

For children, I use creative, age-appropriate approaches such as sand-tray, play therapy, and storytelling to safely explore emotions and experiences.

I also support adults and parents with anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. Parent sessions focus on family dynamics, communication, and understanding your child’s wellbeing.

Each session is tailored to your needs and preferences. We check in on how you’re feeling, explore patterns, set or review goals, and work at a pace and style that feels right for you.

Therapy can feel daunting at first, but I provide a calm, respectful space where you can feel safe, without pressure or judgment. You don’t need to be in crisis, simply having a space to talk, reflect, and gain insight can make a meaningful and lasting difference.
