About me
I am a BACP registered counsellor offering personalised, goal-focused therapy for individuals seeking support with their mental health and emotional well-being. Alongside my creative work, I specialise in helping clients navigate a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and relational difficulties.
Through my counselling sessions, I combine a compassionate, person-centred approach with a deep understanding of how creative expression can support mental well-being. Whether you’re navigating life’s challenges or looking for a safe space to explore your feelings, my sessions offer a blend of professional care and the power of creativity to help you find balance and clarity.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma of Higher Education in Person-Centred Counselling, which forms the foundation of my therapeutic approach. In addition to this, I have one year of experience working in a CBT-focused technology environment accredited by the NHS, giving me valuable insights into cognitive-behavioural therapy techniques and their practical applications in supporting clients.
My personal experience extends to working closely with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including addiction, abuse, and grief. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the complexities of emotional healing and recovery, allowing me to offer compassionate, informed support tailored to each client's unique situation.
By blending my training with personal insights, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals seeking help through difficult life experiences, with a focus on both short-term relief and long-term well-being.
My goal is to offer psychological therapy that is tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. I understand that everyone's journey is different, so I provide flexible options, whether you're seeking short-term support or a more long-term approach. We can start with an initial block of 8 to 16 sessions, with the possibility to extend based on your needs.
For some, a brief, focused approach may be most effective, while others may benefit from ongoing support. Whatever your situation, I’m here to work with you at a pace and timeline that feels right for you.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
