About me

Hello, I'm Charlotte, a Psychotherapist and Integrative Art Psychotherapist working with adults ( 18+), specialising in neurodiversity, anxiety, low self-worth and trauma. I offer talking therapy, art therapy, and nature-based therapy, online, in an East London creative studio, and in London's green spaces.

I'm passionate about empowering others to prioritise their own needs, and to connect with their core sense of self. Perhaps you feel internally overwhelmed & disconnected, or sense past events or relationships are limiting your everyday. If so, creative therapy could help you break away from relational patterns or limiting beliefs that are holding you back.

Working collaboratively, we can create a tailor-made approach that feels right for you. We may simply use creative metaphors when speaking, creating space for transformative thoughts to take shape. Or we can integrate your own personal interests into the work, such as music, movies, or gaming, a technique that can be surprisingly powerful for those struggling to express emotions or wishing to consider a new way of being in the world.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space, in which I will work along side you, rather than analyse. My clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, self-harm, grief, office tension and burnout, sexual abuse, co-dependant relationships, and challenging family dynamics, including conflicting values regarding sexuality and religion.

Advocating for those who identify as neurodivergent is a personal passion. Together we can replace limiting beliefs with compassion, embracing both your unique challenges and strengths. Whatever struggles weigh you down, together we can consider how past experiences impact your everyday, and set you on a new path towards living life more fully.

If you wish to know more, I offer a free 30-minute consultation online, or in person. If you have any questions and we can set up a time that works for you.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
