About me
Welcome - I’m glad you’re here.
Reaching out for support can feel difficult, especially when life feels overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, burnout, or feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. Whatever has brought you to counselling, you do not have to face it alone.
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor with an extensive professional background in education leadership, wellbeing, safeguarding, and family support. Alongside my counselling practice, I have spent many years supporting adults, children, young people, and families through a wide range of emotional, personal, and life challenges.
My professional experience has given me a particular understanding of the pressures that can affect those working in education and caring professions, as well as parents, families, and young people navigating the demands of modern life. It has also provided me with valuable insight into issues such as stress, anxiety, burnout, family relationships, emotional wellbeing, self-esteem, and life transitions.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and relational. I believe that feeling safe, heard, and understood within the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the counselling process. As every person's experiences are unique, I tailor sessions to meet your individual needs and work at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer a non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. Together, we can begin to make sense of what may be affecting you, develop greater self-awareness, and work towards the changes that feel meaningful and important to you.
Therapy is not about having all the answers or being "fixed"; it is about giving yourself the time and space to reflect, process, and reconnect with yourself. Through building a trusting and collaborative relationship, I aim to support you in finding greater clarity, resilience, and confidence in navigating life's challenges.
I work with adults, young people, and children and offer online and telephone counselling sessions. If you would like to find out more or have any questions, I welcome you to get in touch.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
