Counsellor and Psychotherapist, MBACP, Dip.couns

About me

My name is Catiana, and I am an Integrative Counsellor. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. My particular area of specialism is supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse, helping them rebuild safety, relationship problems, confidence, and self-worth through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach.

I was born in Haiti, raised in France, and now call London home. Living across cultures has deepened my appreciation for human uniqueness and the diverse ways we experience life.

I welcome French-speaking clients - sometimes, emotions and meaning can be lost in translation, and I understand how important it is to express yourself in your native
language.

As a BACP-registered integrative counsellor, I work ethically and compassionately to ensure your safety and wellbeing. My approach is relational - I believe healing happens through authentic, respectful connection. In our work together, I offer a space where you can feel truly seen and heard, free from judgment.

I have particular experience supporting women affected by domestic abuse and narcissistic relationships, and I welcome anyone navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, stress, low self-esteem, low confidence, daddy’s issues, mummy’s issues, racism, sexual violence or emotional overwhelm.

If you feel that a toxic childhood is affecting your life as an adult and you would like to explore this and make lasting changes, I welcome both men and women.

Together, we’ll explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace, gently uncovering patterns from the past and how they shape your present. My experience as a massage therapist is influencing me paying close attention to the body’s wisdom - those subtle sensations that often carry deep emotional truths. By reconnecting with your body, you may rediscover your natural intuition and inner strength.

I’ll walk alongside you as you carve your own path. The road may be uneven at times, but with growing self-awareness, clarity begins to emerge - even in the darkest places.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
