About me

Hi. My name is Cathrin Wildwood and I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. I work with men, women, young people and children, and provide individual, couple and family counselling that is tailored to your individual needs and circumstances.

I am a professional, friendly, empathic and open-minded therapist who understands that life is sometimes tough. Seeking help from someone like me takes courage and trust, and that alone gains my respect. I won't judge you or what you tell me, but will work together with you to help you.

I offer therapy for relationship, mental health problems, emotional difficulties and personal awareness, development and self care. I am a friend of the LGBTQ community and work with Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diverse clients.

My intention is to build a genuine trustworthy therapeutic relationship, whereby you feel supported, heard, understood, cared for, respected and accepted just as you are. I can offer you an opportunity to explore what is happening for you in a safe space where you will not be criticised, judged, told what you should think, how you should feel or what to do. Instead I will assist you in finding your way, and making the changes that are right for you.

Trying to choose a therapist can be quite daunting so If you’d like to phone to discuss whether I may be able to help you or your child, or to ask me any other questions, please feel welcome to do so, or if you text me your name and number, I will willingly call you back.

If you want to make an appointment to see me, all you need to do is contact me to let me know by phone, text or email, and then we can work out a mutually convenient day and time.

The space in which I work is private and confidential and has parking.
