About me

I am a qualified and experienced therapist, offering individual, couple and family counselling. I work with clients of all ages, children, young people and adults. I offer therapy for relationship, mental health problems, emotional difficulties and personal awareness, development and self care. I am a friend of the LGBTQ community and work with Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diverse clients.

If you are feeling low, sad, worried, confused, overwhelmed by life or hurt by painful experiences or by the challenges of living in today’s world and longing for something to be different, then I would like to help. At times we all experience difficulties, distressing thoughts and feelings. However we seldom have the opportunity or the space to talk about them fully and in depth. You are welcome to talk about whatever is on your mind and important to you, especially those things that you might be embarrassed or ashamed about.

I have spent many years working on and exploring my own psychological and relational development by exploring the connection between the physical and the emotional through body awareness work, yoga and dance practice alongside my interest in personal and group therapy.

My intention is to build a genuine trustworthy therapeutic relationship, whereby you feel supported, heard, understood, cared for, respected and accepted just as you are. I can offer you an opportunity to explore what is happening for you in a safe space where you will not be criticised, judged, told what you should think, how you should feel or what to do. Instead I will assist you in finding your way, and making the changes that are right for you.

The space in which I work is private and confidential and has parking.

I am a professional practitioner with substantial training and experience. I am a qualified counsellor, and I have a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and Therapy. I have helped people with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, abuse, sexual assault, gender and sexuality, addictions, eating disorders, grief, relationships, emotions and stress.
