About me
You will find me as a warm, friendly, and down to earth person. I will question, as well as a listen, and work with you to explore exactly what can help you move forward. My style is gentle, working at your pace, yet always moving forward towards your goal. I draw from a range of counselling techniques & always have your goals at the forefront of what I do. Please get in touch for an initial 15 minute telephone consultation (no fee required) to find out more, & to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked in therapy since 2013, firstly as a bodyworker, then a counsellor, bringing a holistic approach to health, working with young people & adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, women’s health and relationship issues. Throughout the pandemic, I began working with counselling clients online, and volunteered my time supporting victims of domestic abuse. I have a warm, friendly and gentle style and offer face to face sessions in a peaceful studio in the heart of Sidmouth, a stone’s throw from the sea, as well oceanside counselling walks. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of counselling styles, such as CBT & Gestalt, as well as coaching, while always keeping you, and your goals, at the centre of all we do.
