About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety and can't seem to stop your mind racing , or exhausted from balancing life's demands or a sense of loss of who you are?
Do you:
Feel anxious and exhausted, burdened by worries beyond your control?
At a cross-roads and unsure of which path is yours?
Sense something isn't right in your life but struggle to identify what's missing?
Life feeling empty and lacking in connection?
Therapy can help you transform by:
- Feeling less emotionally overwhelmed.
- Helping you place yourself on your journey, with patience and compassion.
- Setting healthy boundaries so you learn how to put yourself first.
- Helping you align with your inner wisdom and inner wildness.
I focus my practice on women after spending nearly a decade at a women's health center counselling women, seeing first hand how we as women often have challenges that are born out of the female experience.
I have worked successfully with women experiencing anxiety, trauma, menopause, relationships, motherhood, everyday overwhelm of trying to cope with life and body-related shame.
Many women spend their life feeling as if they've lived it trying to fit into the role of being 'good' and as a result they have pushed down their own inner wildness or wild self. As we move through the season of our lives we can feel a pull to shed and release that, that has come before and is no longer serving us. However this can be a scary and frightening path to uncover and walk alone, I can support you as you learn to embrace all that is uniquely you.
Learning to embrace your wild self can be an act of true healing, an unfurling of you! A lot of previous clients have left therapy saying they feel as if they now know themselves better, and feel more aligned with their true self.
Working with me, you can expect to learn how to address your anxiety or difficulties, so that you can move past them, accompanied by learning self-compassion. You can allow yourself to let go of expectations of how to be, making room for peace and self acceptance. Creating a life where your experiences are left in the past, not intruding into your life in the present.
I also offer ecotherapy from a tranquil woodland setting near Hexham, following the ecotherapeutic principle of incorporating Nature into the therapy process.
I hold an MSc in Psychotherapy and am a registered UKCP member. My integrative approach combines various therapeutic models, including Transactional Analysis, tailored to your unique needs.
I work from a calm group practice in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Feel free to reach out to schedule an introductory call, where we can explore how we might work together. I look forward to connecting with you!

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
