Kate Bull - BSc (Hons) Psychology and Dip. Therapeutic Counselling
Hi, I'm Kate, I offer traditional counselling sessions and walk and talk counselling.
I offer counselling in for people suffering from anxiety, low mood and the after effect of suffering from a trauma. I provide a safe and comfortable space in either an office environment or outside, where I can listen and provide support so that you can work through your issues and feel better.
Outdoor counselling is offered in South Shields area, in these sessions we can explore your issues in an outdoor space These sessions take the form of a walk and talk session - however follow all the same principles and boundaries as traditional counselling; such as confidentiality.
Transactional Analysis is my core model, however I work in an integrative way, using other models in a client lead approach. I enjoy helping people who feel lost to gain an understanding of where they want to be and how to get there. I work with people just like you that have may feel under immense pressure or found themselves last priority.
You may find that past events may play out over and over again in your head, you may have forgotten what it feels like to be you. I offer a space where you can learn to connect with yourself and others around you, help you feel less overwhelmed and anxious and deal with the events of the past.
I practise short term counselling if you have a specific issue you would like to focus on or a decision to make, or long term counselling for a more reflective approach. We always discuss with on our first session which is the most appropriate length of counselling for you.
