About me
Have you been grappling with anxious thoughts, difficult memories or the critical internal voice that attacks your sense of self? I understand that at times, life can feel overwhelming and it can feel hard to know where to start to get on track. Low self-worth, trauma and anxiety can leave you feeling small or stuck.
I have worked extensively with sexual violence, abuse (physical, emotional, sexual & coercive control), adverse childhood experiences, relationship breakdowns and betrayals, anxiety & panic, self-worth & self-esteem, confidence, perfectionism, ADHD, stress, sexuality & LGBTQ+ identity.
I would like to support you to reconnect with your inherent worthiness and to find clarity, calm, and a way forward. We’ll work together to explore the past and reflect on your present, all while shaping a path to the future you really want.
What I Offer:
- Collaborative Approach: Therapy is a partnership. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore freely, without judgement, and get to the heart of what’s holding you back.
- Focus Areas: Whilst I work with clients across a range of issues, my areas of focus include anxiety, self-worth and recovery following abusive relationships.
- Compassionate support: My role is to support you in reaching meaningful insights that help you build clarity, calm and resilience as you navigate life’s challenges.
As an integrative counsellor, I’m here to offer you a supportive and proactive space to explore your unique narrative and choose where you would like your story to go next. I work integratively, blending Person-Centred Counselling with techniques and philosophies from various therapeutic approaches to create a style tailored to you.
Experience:
I am a masters qualified therapist who has been in qualified practice since 2021. Alongside my private practice, I work for a local women's charity supporting individuals impacted by domestic abuse and adverse childhood experiences. I previously provided counselling at a specialist sexual violence service.
Outside of counselling I am a consultant and facilitator at a workplace wellbeing consultancy.

I am a registered member of the BACP, and as such I work to the BACP Ethical Framework.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
