About me
Caroline has an intuitive and inquisitive nature. She is a well established and highly respected Holistic Therapist and Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor working with adults, children and young people.
With a background spanning over 25 years providing holistic Integrative Therapies I have supported individuals dealing with a diverse range of issues; from common concerns like anxiety and relationship issues to more intricate and traumatic experiences.
In my role as a qualified counsellor, I possess the training and experience necessary to guide you through the process of understanding yourself and your world. Together, we can overcome whatever obstacles may be hindering your progress to help foster positive changes in your life.
My counselling services prioritise effectiveness and confidentiality. I offer both short and long-term counselling from an integrative perspective, drawing upon Client-Centred Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. This allows me to tailor my approach to best suit your individual needs.
I also offer Walk and Talk sessions. These are held at Mutley Meadows in Hartlip near Sittingbourne where we can walk, talk and sit in a secure outdoor space. There is also the option to incorporate canine Animal-Assisted Therapy into these outdoor sessions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified integrative therapeutic counsellor which means I blend a variety of counselling skills into our sessions. I also have over 25 years experience and training in a wide variety of holistic therapies which have strengthened my intuitive, empathic nature.
I work from a therapy room in Rainham, Kent, providing a convenient, confidential, and comfortable space for in-person meetings and child-led play therapy. I also conduct adult sessions online too.
Sometimes it can feel uncomfortable working in a seated face to face environment, with this in mind I offer walk and talk therapy sessions.
These sessions consist of meeting at a secure outdoor field at Mutley Meadows in Hartlip near Sittingbourne. In this outdoor field we have the space to walk, sit, talk and just be present as you share and experience the therapeutic process outside in nature.
Working with Kent Equine Facilitated Learning CIC (KEFL) based in Horton Kirby, near Dartford, Kent I offer Equine Assisted Therapy. Sessions are available for adults and young people, for more information and prices please visit the website.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate and am fully insured. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and an accredited registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
