About me
I'm an experienced Person-Centred counsellor, offering sessions online or in person in Teignmouth. I work with adults and young people aged 16 and above.
People seek counselling for all kinds of reasons, and you don't have to wait until you're at breaking point to ask for support. Whatever has brought you here, we can explore it together and make sense of what's going on for you.
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can explore things at your own pace. You can speak openly and be met with care, respect and no judgement. My approach is held in the belief that everyone already has the capacity for understanding, growth and change, even if it doesn't always feel that way.
As part of my therapeutic work, I have experience supporting clients with Autism and ADHD. This comes from working in an educational setting as well as my own lived experience, and it gives me a genuine understanding of the challenges and strengths that can come with neurodivergence.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I'm committed to making counselling accessible, and I offer a limited number of low-cost spaces at £35 per session for students or clients on a low income. If you feel low-cost counselling would help you, please do get in touch. If no spaces are available at the time of your enquiry, I'll happily add you to a waiting list until one becomes free.
