About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or struggling to deal with life's challenges? If so, I am able to offer you a warm, compassionate, and confidential space in which to explore what you are dealing with, all those difficult thoughts and feelings.  Working together we can gain some much needed clarity, and go on to create meaningful change in your life.

Through regular sessions, I will work with you to help you to explore what’s feeling difficult, consider your stressors, let go of old patterns, create new skills and as a result, improve your overall mental health & wellbeing wellbeing.

Whether you're dealing with a break-up, work stress, bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationship or family issues, self-esteem struggles or curious about aspects of yourself and your identity, I’m here to support you in a way that feels safe, supportive and empowering.

What I offer:

  • regular one-to-one sessions therapy tailored to your unique needs
  • a non-judgmental, empathetic supportive approach
  • evidence and experience-based practices and techniques

Who I work with:

  • adults experiencing anxiety, stress, and depression
  • individuals facing relationship or work-related challenges
  • those seeking self-discovery, personal growth, or emotional resilience
  • people looking for a safe and confidential space in which to explore trauma and abuse

Why choose me:

  • qualified, experienced and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
  • skilled in supporting individuals through difficult life transitions and mental health challenges
  • specialist training in bereavement, ADHD and domestic violence
  • warm, approachable, and committed to safe, ethical practice which focuses on your health and well-being
  • flexible in offering both in-person and online therapy sessions or a mix

Training, qualifications & experience

As a qualified & experienced therapist, I’m trained to work with a broad range of therapy techniques and work in what is called an ‘integrative way’. This means I am trained in a number of different therapeutic approaches, and will combine these in the way which best suits you. This approach acknowledges you as a unique individual and allows me to be more flexible and adaptable to your needs.

In addition I have received specialist training in working with bereavement and domestic violence, and I have extensive experience in working with ADHD in adults [pre and post diagnosis].

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
