Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. Advance PGDIP in TA.

About me

At times, we all notice that the strategies that once helped us cope no longer feel sufficient. You may feel stuck in patterns of stress, withdrawal, over-control, or simply pushing through, even when something inside knows change is needed. Perhaps you are functioning well outwardly but privately feel disconnected, frustrated, or unsure of who you are beneath the roles you perform.

My work is for anyone seeking to understand these patterns and create meaningful, reflective change. Together, we explore how experiences from the past shape your present, and discover ways to live with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity. With a background in rugby and working with people from performance-driven environments, I understand the pressures of identity, discipline, and expectation that many carry.

Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and relational, a space where you don’t have to perform or justify yourself, and can explore experiences openly, at your own pace. I work with clients at the Wellness Hub in Falmouth, Cornwall, and online throughout the UK.

Training, qualifications & experience

I work using Transactional Analysis, an evidence-informed talking therapy that helps you reflect on how past experiences shape your current patterns. I am in ‘Advanced Training’, meaning that I am working towards my Certified Transactional Analyst exams. Together, we gently examine these influences and explore ways to make meaningful changes that feel authentic and sustainable.

My approach is relational and reflective, supporting you to build awareness, insight, and practical strategies for living with more confidence, balance, and fulfilment. Whether your goals involve improving relationships, managing stress, understanding yourself more deeply, or navigating life transitions, therapy is tailored to your needs.

Further information

If you’re feeling stuck, stressed, or unsure of your next step, therapy can help you gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self. I support people in understanding the patterns that shape their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and in exploring meaningful ways to create change in their lives.

My own journey began in rugby. After a shoulder injury ended my playing career, I transitioned into teaching P.E., and it was through my own experience of seeking therapy that I discovered a deep passion for helping others navigate challenges. Over time, I’ve developed a particular interest in how men engage with therapy, informed by current research, though I work with all adults.

I continue to explore ways to make therapy more effective and accessible, integrating scientific research and reflective practice to support growth, self-understanding, and emotional balance.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy surfing and exploring Cornwall’s coastal paths with my two dogs, and I believe that life’s adventures contribute to perspective and wellbeing.

Sessions are available face-to-face at the Wellness Hub in Falmouth or online across the UK. The Wellness Hub provides a welcoming, calm space to reflect and explore change. If you’re ready, let’s begin this journey together.
