About me
Welcome ,I’m Beatriz, a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and founder of Solum Counselling Space. I understand how life’s challenges can leave you feeling disconnected, uncertain, or overwhelmed. Reaching out for support can feel like stepping into the unknown, it takes courage to let someone into the more vulnerable parts of your life.
My aim is to offer a warm, grounded space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Together, we can slow things down, listen to what’s emerging beneath the surface, and begin to explore new ways of being that feel more aligned and authentic to you. I will meet you where you are ,gently and without judgment, helping you make sense of what’s going on and what you need to move forward.
I offer both in-person and online sessions, supporting you to deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships (with others and with yourself), and move toward living more authentically.
Our work might include:
• Exploring patterns in your life. How you got here, what keeps repeating, and what may be ready to change.
• Looking at how past experiences (such as trauma, relationships, or self-worth struggles) may still be shaping your present.
• Noticing the blocks that keep you stuck . The expectations, stories, or “shoulds” that no longer serve you.
• Using the counselling relationship as part of the process , paying attention to how you feel here and what that might reflect elsewhere.
• Incorporating creative and body-aware approaches to deepen insight and support change in different ways.
My integrative approach is rooted in a person-centred philosophy . I believe you are the expert in your own life. Drawing from a range of therapeutic models, I tailor our work to your unique needs, creating a space that encourages reflection, understanding, and growth at your own pace.

Further information
I believe counselling isn’t just about exploring what hurts .It’s also about rediscovering your strength, creativity, and capacity for change.
My practice is called Solum Counselling Space . “Solum” meaning ground, base, or foundation. It reflects my belief that healing begins with finding your footing, reconnecting with your inner stability, and growing from there.
Whether you come to counselling for a specific issue or a more general sense of disconnection, I offer a steady presence and an open space for you to find clarity, confidence, and direction.
