About me

I am an integrative psychotherapist based in West Hampstead (NW6, London) and online, offering one-to-one sessions for adults on both a short-term and open-ended basis.

I provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore the aspects of your life that you wish to bring into therapy.

By reading these words, you’ve already taken a meaningful step on your therapeutic journey-and I am here to walk alongside you, offering support, presence, and understanding as you navigate your path.

I have experience working with a wide range of themes that clients have brought to therapy with me over the years: anxiety, trauma, bereavement, death & mortality, low self-esteem, abuse, exploration of gender, sex and sexuality, just to name a few!

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy by Middlesex University.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I adhere to their ethical code of practice.

My experience includes working across several placements, including a low-cost counselling service in North West London, a bereavement counselling service at a hospice in South West London, and a specialist cancer hospital in South West London, where I provided oncological psychotherapy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

I am an integrative therapist, which means that I tailor my approach to each client and explore themes that come up in therapy through multiple lenses. There is no absolute truth when it comes to being human and having access to a range of psychotherapeutic modalities allows therapy to be as rich as our experiences.

I work in a relational way, with undertones of existential psychotherapy, which frames my sessions as an encounter between two human beings. I walk alongside my clients as they bring whatever feels most present to them, even if that is an absence of feeling, or a confusing not-knowing. We collaboratively try to make sense of thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations as we dive deeper and how they are connected to past experiences, significant others, power structures, cultural context and to the therapeutic relationship. Exploring the meaning of feelings and understanding how they relate to the different aspects of one’s past and present can open up new possibilities for the future – a freedom to make different choices and the potential for real, lasting change.

Both my personal values and clinical practice are queer and trans-affirming, and I am committed to providing an anti-oppressive space.
