About me
I’m a fully qualified integrative counsellor, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches- tailoring our work to what feels right for you and what you're bringing to therapy. Such modalities include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy and Transactional analysis.
My approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, respect, and inclusivity. I believe therapy works best when it’s a genuine, trusting connection that honours each person’s unique life experiences. At the heart of meaningful therapeutic work is autonomy and championing individuality - because no two people are the same.
I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can talk freely and truly feel heard and understood without judgment. With empathy and understanding, I will support your journey toward personal growth and self-awareness. I aim to create an environment where you can explore and understand your emotions at your own pace and gain the tools you need to navigate life's challenges with confidence, clarity, and resilience.
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I offer daytime and evening appointments for individual face-to-face or online counselling as per your needs. I also offer home visits to those who may struggle with accessibility.
What to expect in your first session
I believe the first session is essential in helping to establish a strong foundation for a positive therapeutic relationship. I like to keep the first session relaxed yet enriching for clients in order to establish goals and assess needs.
Together we will go through our counselling contract which covers the practicalities of therapy such as confidentiality, fees and safety protocols. I will be more than happy to address any questions or concerns about how I work, or how counselling works in general.
We will then work collaboratively to establish your goals and desired outcomes from therapy that you hope to achieve. My aim is to build a trusting yet authentic relationship in which you feel empowered and heard. This then will help facilitate greater self-awareness within yourself and equip you with tools and techniques to help you through your journey.
Getting started
I know how hard life can feel sometimes, and how difficult it can be to reach out for support. Seeking help is a brave & meaningful first step, and I’m here to walk alongside you, to listen with empathy, and to help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings.
If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Please don't hesitate to contact me for an initial no obligation discussion by telephone or online.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
