About me

  • Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure where to start.
  • I offer a confidential, calm and compassionate safe space to explore whatever it is that brought you here.
  • We work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure or judgement.
  • Together we can explore different parts of you, like the critical voice, the overwhelmed part, or the capable adult, so you can respond to yourself with more understanding and less judgement.
  • Shaped by my lived experience of late diagnosed Dyslexia and ADHD, I have a particular passion for supporting late diagnosed, self identified or exploring neurodivergent clients.
  • I work with individuals and couples experiencing relationship challenges, offering a confidential space to explore communication difficulties, conflict and feeling disconnected,  supporting you to develop greater understanding and new ways or relating.
  • For those seeking an alternative approach, I offer Equine Assisted Therapy, combining therapeutic work with the presence of horses in a natural setting.

Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting and it's important to find a therapist who is a right fit for you. I aim to respond to all new client enquiries within 48hours.

I offer a free 30 minute Zoom consultation where you can share a little about what's bringing you, and I can explain how I work.

This gives us both the chance to see if we feel like a good fit. If it feels right to go ahead, we can then arrange a time to begin working together, with sessions usually taking place at the same time each week.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified counsellor and my work is grounded in Transactional Analysis, a relational approach which helps us understand how our early experiences shape the way we think, feel and respond in the present. This can help us make sense of ourselves and our relationships, especially couples where these patterns often show up in how we relate to one another.

  • Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling
  • Diploma in Equine Facilitated Learning and Development
  • Certificate in Couples Work
  • Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health
  • COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate

My training has developed over five years, beginning at Strathclyde University and continuing with psychotherapy training at Physis Scotland. I engage in regular monthly supervision and ongoing personal therapy as I continue towards full psychotherapy registration.

I have also completed additional training in Menopause, Neurodiversity, Bereavement and Loss, Trauma and PTSD.
