About me

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or struggling to cope with difficult emotions, relationships, or life events. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you do not have to face things alone. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and explore whatever is troubling you at your own pace.

I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am currently establishing my private practice, where I offer counselling to adults and young people. My approach is based on the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and change when they feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted.

I work collaboratively with clients, providing a safe and confidential environment where you can gain greater self-awareness, develop resilience, and move towards the changes you would like to make in your life. I understand that every person’s experience is unique, which is why I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs.

Alongside my private practice, I have gained valuable experience supporting individuals through my counselling placement and ongoing volunteering at the All Women’s Centre in Luton. During this time, I worked with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic abuse, low self-esteem, confidence issues, relationship difficulties, social isolation, and significant life challenges.

I have also completed a placement within a drug and alcohol service, supporting individuals affected by addiction, alcohol and substance misuse, trauma, emotional difficulties, and recovery-related challenges. This experience strengthened my understanding of the complex factors that can contribute to addiction and the courage required to make positive and lasting changes.

In addition, I currently work as a Student Support Mental Health Mentor with Randstad, supporting university students experiencing a variety of mental health and wellbeing challenges. This role has provided extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, autism, academic pressures, emotional regulation difficulties, confidence-building, and mental health recovery.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I believe that when people feel genuinely listened to, accepted, and understood, they are better able to explore challenges, recognise their strengths, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Seeking counselling can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of a positive and transformative journey. My aim is to provide a supportive space where you feel safe to be yourself, explore your experiences without judgement, and work towards the life you want to live.
