About me

Do you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, or feeling weighed down by anxiety or grief that never seems to lift no matter how hard you try?

Life’s challenges can sometimes leave us feeling stuck. Whether it’s difficulties in your personal life, the impact of loss, or stress that feels overwhelming, these struggles can make it really hard to move forward.

How I can help:

With over 19 years of experience, I use a blend of EMDR and Brainspotting to help clients process deeply rooted issues. These powerful therapies are designed to target both the emotional and physical symptoms of anxiety, distress, and feeling stuck, allowing you to access your own healing resources in a safe and supportive environment.

Using a deep toolbox of techniques, I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are, always working toward sustainable healing. Together, we will explore what’s been getting in your way and help you tap into your inner strengths to break free from old patterns and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Training, qualifications & experience

With over 19 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge in both EMDR and Brainspotting, offering specialised therapy for both children and adults. My extensive training includes advanced certifications in EMDR and Brainspotting, which are powerful therapeutic approaches for helping you process complex emotions, reduce stress, and access your own inner strengths.

I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse environments, from high schools to major healthcare providers like AXA Healthcare. I served as the lead therapist for 12 years in cases involving traumatic grief, murder, and suicide, and have worked extensively with family separation and trauma survivors in both private and charity settings. Additionally, I’ve tutored in counselling courses, and enjoy helping the next generation of therapists.

My approach is integrative and tailored to your needs, drawing from years of experience in treating a wide range of issues, from complex emotional challenges to everyday struggles. I provide a safe, supportive environment where you can explore and heal at your own pace.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
