About me
Do you ever feel like life is stuck on repeat — the same patterns in life, relationships, - the same cycles of stress, the same burnout creeping in again and again? My clients often arrive saying, “I just can’t keep doing this.” If that’s you, it usually means you’re ready for real change.
I specialise in helping people break those cycles of anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. If you’ve tried talking therapy, self-help, or pushing through on your own, you’ll know it can only get you so far. That’s why I use EMDR and Brainspotting — therapies that go deeper, helping your mind and body release what keeps you stuck so you can finally move forward.
Therapy with me works best if you’re ready to take an active role in your process. I’ll meet you with warmth and clarity, but I’ll also guide you through powerful processes that create lasting change.
Using a deep toolbox of techniques, I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are, always working toward sustainable healing. Together, we will explore what’s been getting in your way and help you tap into your inner strengths to break free from old patterns and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Training, qualifications & experience
With over 21 years experience, I bring both depth of training and real-world insight to my work. I’m fully qualified in Counselling and have advanced certifications in EMDR and Brainspotting, which are highly effective for processing trauma, anxiety, and ADHD-related challenges.
Alongside this, I’ve also undertaken specialist training in trauma, ADHD and autism , which I combine with my own lived experience. Many clients find this helps them feel understood from the start — both the challenges and the strengths of ADHD are recognised in the therapy room.
My background spans diverse settings, from schools and charities to private practice and healthcare providers such as AXA. For 12 years, I served as lead therapist in cases involving traumatic grief, murder, and suicide, and I’ve supported many clients facing separation, loss, abuse and nervous system overwhelm.
I’ve also trained and tutored counselling students, helping to shape the next generation of therapists. This mix of clinical depth, teaching experience, and ongoing professional development allows me to tailor therapy to you — combining compassion with techniques proven to help you move forward.
My approach is integrative and tailored to your needs, drawing from years of experience in treating a wide range of issues, from complex emotional challenges to everyday struggles. I provide a safe, supportive environment where you can explore and heal at your own pace and get to where you want to be .
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
