About me

A Supportive Space For You: Therapy is a collaborative journey that we take step-by-step. My priority is to provide a warm, accepting space right from the start, giving us the room to naturally build safety and understanding as we work together.

Counselling can feel daunting, but you don't have to carry it all alone. I provide a warm, down-to-earth, and safe space where you can speak freely without the fear of judgment. Because every person’s experience is unique, I reject "one size fits all" templates. Together, we will find a way of working that feels comfortable and right for you.

Grounded in Experience, Tailored to You. While our human connection comes first, it is supported by deep experience. As an accredited NCPS and MBACP Registered Counsellor with over 3,000 hours of clinical practice, I bring a wealth of diverse therapeutic knowledge to our sessions. For you, this simply means you are in safe, steady, and experienced hands. Whether you need short-term tools to get through a difficult patch or longer-term space to explore deeper trauma, we will move at your pace.

Areas We Can Explore Together In my private practice, I walk alongside adults navigating a variety of life's heaviest challenges, specialising in:

  • Trauma & Complex PTSD (CPTSD): Safely processing the painful impacts of childhood, emotional, or domestic abuse.
  • Emotional Well-being: Easing the weight of anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, and that harsh inner critic.
  • Loss & Change: Supporting you through bereavement, grief, and the breakdown of relationships.
  • Navigating Difficult Patterns: Helping you understand and manage addictions, substance misuse, obsessions, and self-harm.

Reaching out for support isn't easy, but it is a profoundly meaningful investment in yourself. It is an absolute privilege to do this work and to support people as they navigate their struggles, heal from the past, and reclaim their peace. If you feel ready to take that first step, I would be glad to see how we can work together.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
